Overview
We are looking for Staff Nurses who undertake nursing activities related to their department. She works flexibly and cooperatively while always following Advanced Medicine Center Policies and Procedures and reflecting the Mission Vision and Objectives of the Nursing Department and Medical Center in client centered manner.
Duties and Responsibilities include :
-Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through use of the nursing process as per approved Medical Center Wide PPG’s.
– Receive patient for admission. Do complete nursing assessment and document.
– Do initial assessment and reassessment as per policy.
– Administer all medications, narcotics and controlled drugs and infusions only with a physician’s order, and following orientation and passing medication competency examination, as approved by the Nursing Manager
– Initiate and perform a range of approved nursing measures and procedures based on patient needs related to physical and mental comfort and safety, with special reference to pain, hygiene, nutrition and hydration, elimination, skin integrity and cardiac and respiratory needs.
– Documents accidents, incidents, and complaints as per approved Medical Center Wide Opportunity for Improvement (OVR) protocol and reports promptly to the appropriate senior personnel.
Requirements:
-Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing or three 1⁄2 years Diploma in
Nursing and Midwifery Current license on BLS
-Current license on BLS
-Current ACLS provider certificate for ICU, CCU, Operation Theatre (OT), Labor Room (LR), Emergency Department (ED), Cath Lab.
-Current Triage certificate for ED.
-Current NRP provider certificate for NICU, Nursery.
-Current PALS provider certificate for PICU.
-Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
-Middle East experience preferred.
-Communicates well in both written and verbal English.
-Must have good personal hygiene and be always groomed.
